Start with a clear introduction
Open Interviews in your dashboard and choose Create interview. Add the job title, a description, and instructions that help candidates understand what to expect.
Save changes keeps a new interview as a draft. You can return to it before making the candidate link available.
Build the questions
- Add between 1 and 30 questions. Choose video, audio, long text, short text, single choice, or multiple choice for each one.
- Mark the questions candidates must answer. For recordings, set a time limit and the number of allowed retakes.
- If you want a consistent review rubric, add scorecard criteria before sharing the interview. Reviewers will score these manually.
Publish and share the link
- Select Publish interview. Your workspace needs room for another published interview and an active entitlement to accept responses.
- Use Copy link to share the candidate URL, or Open interview to check the welcome page.
- Send the link through your existing recruiting channels. Candidates enter their name and email and answer without creating an Interviewly account.
Change availability when you need to
The interview’s availability can be Draft, Published, Paused, or Archived. Only Published interviews accept candidate responses. Pausing or archiving also stops candidates from continuing unfinished responses.
If a candidate reports that the link is unavailable, check the interview status and your workspace’s billing and usage before sharing the link again.
