Find the response you need

Open Candidates from the dashboard. Search by name, email, or note text, and narrow the list by interview or stage. Open a candidate to review the answers question by question.

Video and audio playback requires authorized workspace access. If a playback link has expired, select Refresh access. A transcript appears when the candidate consented to transcription and processing has completed successfully.

Record your assessment

  • Give an overall rating from 1 to 5.
  • If the interview has scorecard criteria, score each criterion from 1 to 5 and add your reasoning.
  • Add private notes for relevant observations and follow-up questions. Candidates do not see these notes.
  • Update the stage to New, Reviewing, Shortlisted, Rejected, or Hired as your process progresses.

Ratings and scorecards are entered by people. Interviewly does not make an automated hiring decision. A stage change records your decision in the workspace; it does not send a candidate a status email.

Use the same criteria throughout a role

Set your rubric before candidates begin and keep notes tied to the role’s requirements. Questions and scorecard criteria are fixed after an application starts, so create a new interview if the assessment needs to change.

Treat notes and exported data as candidate information. Share them only through your organization’s approved hiring process.
